Bicester3D for Business is the trade tier for organisations that buy 3D-printed parts as part of how they work, not as a one-off. Engineering teams iterating on prototypes. Motorsport workshops needing fast brackets. Manufacturing operations with replacement parts to print. Architecture practices ordering presentation models for client meetings.

You get 15% off our published list pricing on every order, NET 30 invoicing after the first order clears, priority position in the production queue, and an NDA in place from day one. Jack handles trade applications and is your named contact for the relationship.

No turnaround SLA — we won't promise things we can't always deliver — but trade orders sit ahead of one-off retail jobs in the queue, and you get a direct line for anything that's about to become urgent.

WHO IT'S FOR

Built for teams that order 3D prints regularly

Trade accounts work best when there's project cadence — work that comes back week after week or month after month. Some examples of the shapes we usually see.

ENGINEERING TEAMS

Iterative prototyping. Form-fit-function checks. Production fixtures. Bracket runs for test rigs. NET 30 invoicing means you don't reset payment friction every time the design changes.

MOTORSPORT WORKSHOPS

Lightweight ducting, brackets, body panels and tooling. Fast turnaround when you have a race-week deadline. Material range covers PETG, ABS, ASA, polycarbonate and TPU.

ARCHITECTURE PRACTICES

Site models for planning meetings, presentation models for client pitches, scale buildings for competition entries. Smooth resin finish or FDM with painted approach.

MANUFACTURING OPERATIONS

Replacement guards, jigs, gauges, end-effectors, conveyor parts. We hold designs and re-print on demand without re-quoting from scratch.

EDUCATION + RESEARCH

Lab equipment, custom fixtures, project parts for student teams. Transparent pricing and NET 30 invoicing fit institutional procurement workflows.

PRODUCT DESIGNERS

Pre-launch prototypes for investor meetings. Functional samples for trade shows. NDA-protected work as standard — no separate document required.

WHAT YOU GET

Trade tier benefits

TRADE PRICING
15% off our published list pricing on every order. Larger volume tiers (Tier 2 and 3) negotiated case-by-case based on monthly spend and parts mix.

Pro-forma on your first order. After that, NET 30 from invoice date for limited companies. Sole traders and partnerships unlock NET 30 after six months of clean payment history.
PRIORITY QUEUE
Trade orders sit ahead of retail one-offs in the production queue. No turnaround SLA — we won't commit to what we can't always deliver — but you'll know quickly if anything's tight.
NDA STANDARD
Mutual NDA included by default — no separate document required. Design files are accessed only by Jack, encrypted at rest, retained 18 months by default (shorter on request).
FOUR TIERS

HOW IT WORKS

Application to first order

APPLY
Fill in the trade application form. 5-10 minutes. Limited company or sole trader / partnership. We need entity details, primary contact, expected use case, and rough order frequency.
REVIEW
Jack reviews within 2 working days. Limited companies get a light Companies House + credit check. Sole traders and partnerships: ID + business confirmation. Borderline cases get a 10-minute call.
ACTIVATION
If approved, you receive a signed trade agreement and account activation email. Tier, discount, and credit limit are confirmed in writing. The next quote applies trade pricing automatically.
FIRST ORDER (PRO-FORMA)
Your first order is paid in full before production starts. Non-negotiable across all tiers — establishes the relationship and lets us match expectations before extending credit.
NET TERMS GO LIVE
Limited companies move to NET 30 from the second order onwards (subject to credit limit). Sole traders stay pro-forma until the six-month review unlocks NET terms.

TRADE FAQ

Common questions

How is trade pricing applied?

15% off our published list pricing on every quote, applied automatically once your account is active. Tier 2 and Tier 3 accounts negotiate higher discounts based on monthly spend and parts mix.

Why is the first order always pro-forma?

Pro-forma on the first order is non-negotiable across all tiers and entity types. It establishes the relationship and lets us match expectations on file quality, dispatch and payment before extending credit. From the second order, limited companies move to NET 30 (subject to credit limit). Sole traders and partnerships stay pro-forma until their six-month review.

Do you offer hard turnaround SLAs?

No. We don't commit to fixed turnaround windows we can't always hit — that's a promise we'd rather not break. What we do commit to: trade orders sit ahead of retail in the production queue, and you get a direct line if anything's about to become urgent.

What's the standard credit limit?

£200 as a starting point for Tier 1a limited companies. It's reviewed every quarter and can move up based on order volume and payment history. Tier 2 and Tier 3 limits are negotiated against filed accounts and projected spend.

Can sole traders and partnerships apply?

Yes — Tier 1b. Sole traders and partnerships are pro-forma on every order in their first six months. After six months of clean payment history we can promote the account to NET 14 or NET 30 with an associated credit limit. The 15% trade discount applies from day one.

Is there an NDA in place?

Yes. A mutual NDA is built into the trade agreement and applies for the duration of the account plus two years after termination. No separate document required for normal trade work. Project-specific addenda are available for sensitive work — defence-adjacent supplier requirements, pre-launch consumer products, etc.

Can you work with defence or aerospace customers?

We don't take military or defence end-use work as standard. Aerospace and motorsport non-safety-critical parts are fine. If your application is borderline (supplier-of-record requirements, dual-use components) we'll discuss case-by-case before quoting.

What materials are available?

FDM: PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, polycarbonate, plus carbon-fibre composites (PETG-CF, ASA-CF, PPA-CF, PPS-CF). SLA: 14 Formlabs resins on the Form 4 — standard, tough, rigid, flexible, silicone, castable and high-temp (238°C) grades, each with a published datasheet. Engineering and specialty resins are special-order (brought in per job). No in-house painting or finishing beyond our standard wash + cure. We don't do metal printing in-house — happy to refer to trusted partners if metal is what you need.

Can you hold designs and re-print on demand?

Yes. We retain design files for 18 months by default, shorter on request in writing. Reorders skip the re-quoting step — same files, same parameters — you just confirm quantity and dispatch.

How do I get my credit limit increased?

Email Jack. Sustained order volume, filed accounts showing a material change, or a larger upcoming project all justify a review. Limits move up (or down) on 30 days' written notice.

READY TO APPLY?

Trade applications are reviewed within 2 working days

One form. Limited company or sole trader / partnership. No payment to apply, no commitment if approved — pricing earns its way through the relationship.
