From photogrammetry to silicone bust, 8-part PLA mould tooling for an A-level art project

An A-level art student in the Midlands wanted to cast a full silicone portrait of her mother. We took the photogrammetry-derived mesh and printed the mould tooling in PLA, split across 8 parts so the geometry could be assembled, cast and demoulded cleanly. The student finished and painted the cast bust as her final coursework submission.

A translucent book-shaped LED lamp for a short shelf

A semi-transparent, hollow 3D-printed lamp shaped like a row of books — short enough to fit a specific short shelf, hollow inside to house an LED strip, translucent enough for the warm glow to read through. A custom commission with no off-the-shelf equivalent, refined collaboratively until it hit Julianne's brief.
