Hobbyist & DIY 3D Printing

One-off prints, replacement parts and passion projects — no minimum order, no account needed. Just upload and go.

Most hobby and DIY jobs are a single part on no particular deadline — a bracket you modelled yourself, a replacement knob, an RC chassis, a display piece. Upload your STL or STEP, pick a colour and material, and we print it and post it. No minimum spend, free UK tracked delivery, and CAD help on hand if you don't have a model yet.

FEATURED PROJECT

A discontinued oven knob, reverse-engineered

A customer brought in a snapped control knob for an oven the manufacturer no longer supports. We scanned the broken original, rebuilt it as clean parametric CAD and printed a set of three in PETG — one to fit now and two spares. Exactly the kind of one-off that's the whole point of hobby and DIY printing.

HOBBYIST & DIY 3D PRINTING FAQ

Is there a minimum order for a one-off print?

No. There's no minimum order and no account needed — upload a single STL or STEP file, pick a material and colour, and we'll print it and post it with free UK tracked delivery. Small prints start from around £5.

Can you print a model I downloaded from MakerWorld or Printables?

Yes. Send us the STL, or just paste the model link, and we'll check it prints cleanly, tell you the size and price, and print it for you. If a model needs repairing or scaling to fit, we'll sort that at quote time.

I don't have a 3D model — can you still help?

We can. Our CAD and design service turns a sketch, a photo, or a broken original into a printable part, and our 3D scanning service can copy an existing object. Send us what you've got and we'll quote the design work alongside the print.

Which material should I choose for a hobby project?

PLA is the easy default for display pieces and prototypes. Choose PETG if the part needs to be tougher or live outdoors, TPU if it needs to flex, and SLA resin if you want the finest detail. Not sure? Tell us what the part does and we'll recommend one.
