What casting resin do you use?
We use a specialist castable wax-like resin that is specifically formulated for investment casting. It delivers clean zero-ash burnout, meaning no residue or expansion in the mould cavity. This ensures your caster gets a perfect impression every time, whether you're working in gold, silver, platinum, or other precious metals.
What file formats do you accept?
We accept STL, OBJ, 3DM (Rhino), and STEP files. If you don't have a 3D file, we can also work from sketches or photos — just get in touch and we'll discuss what's possible. Most jewellery CAD software (RhinoGold, MatrixGold, Fusion 360, Blender) can export in a compatible format.
Can you print ring sizing samples?
Yes, we can print multiple sizes for fit testing before you commit to casting. This is especially useful for engagement rings and bespoke commissions where getting the size right first time matters. We'll print your design in standard resin at the sizes you need so your customer can try them on.
What's the minimum detail you can achieve?
Our SLA printers can resolve features down to 0.05mm — fine enough for filigree work, micro-pave settings, and delicate textures. This level of detail transfers directly to the cast piece, giving you results that rival traditional hand-carved wax masters.
Do you work with casting houses?
We can recommend trusted casting partners if you don't have your own, or we're happy to supply patterns directly to your own caster. We'll package and label patterns carefully to ensure they arrive in perfect condition, ready for investment.
