OpenSCAD DAC bracket — print precision you can't hit by hand

A small bracket to hold an AliExpress DAC board, designed in OpenSCAD by a hobbyist who needed dimensional accuracy he couldn't get hand-fabricating. Two iterations. "The print was excellent."
What they came to us with
Daniel designs in OpenSCAD because he can hold tighter tolerances in code than he can by hand. He needed a bracket to hold a DAC circuit board (the type commonly sold on AliExpress and eBay) and had a precise idea of the geometry. Hand-fabricating it wasn't going to hit his precision bar, so 3D printing was the obvious route.
What we did
We printed his first OpenSCAD design as supplied. After looking at version one he refined the model, sent through version two, and we printed that as well. Both came off our FDM line at standard tolerance. The two-iteration loop was cheaper and faster than tooling for a hobby-scale bracket would have been.
“The print was excellent.”

Result
Daniel's words: "the print was excellent." The bracket holds the DAC board, the second iteration matched the geometry he had in his head, and the project shipped without him needing to pick up a file or a drill.
