SCALE YOUR PRODUCTION
If you're ordering regularly, the B3D for Business trade tier gets you 15% off list, NET 30 invoicing and a named contact. For one-off production runs, start with a custom-manufacturing enquiry.
Production scale needs a Business account.
Volume pricing, NET 30 invoicing, dedicated account contact, repeat-order workflow, scheduled production capacity. The trade tier is built for the cadence custom-manufacturing customers actually run.
From concept to production — CAD design for manufacturing.
CUSTOM MANUFACTURING FAQ
No minimum order. We've run jobs from a single one-off prototype to 500-part batches. Trade pricing kicks in on volume — typically 10+ identical parts per run earns a meaningful per-unit discount. For batches above 200 parts, we'll discuss whether 3D printing is still the right process or if you should be looking at injection moulding.
Yes — trade accounts get 15% off list, priority queue placement, NET 30 invoicing terms after the first pro-forma order, and a dedicated workshop contact (Jack). Apply via the trade application form on the site — we'll credit-check and activate within a couple of working days. Useful for design consultancies, prototyping teams, motorsport workshops and any business placing regular orders.
Yes — NDA-before-quote is standard for our engineering and supplier-development clients. We use a mutual NDA template by default, or we'll sign yours after a brief review. Files are stored in encrypted-at-rest infrastructure, not shared outside the workshop without explicit permission.
FDM at ±0.2mm verified across all axes, with dimensional inspection records issued on request. SLA on the Formlabs Form 4 holds ±0.15% of the nominal dimension (min ±0.05mm) on parts up to 30mm, widening to ±0.2% (31–80mm) and ±0.3% (81–150mm) — the measured Formlabs tolerance bands. Small, well-oriented features reach the ±0.05mm floor. For tolerance-critical parts we'll discuss design-for-print — some geometry survives the print better than others.
Yes — MDS available for every material we run, batch-traceable to filament/resin lot. Dimensional inspection reports issued on request. For ongoing production work we can hold a standing inspection cadence (every part, every Nth part, statistical sampling). Useful for design-controlled environments and supplier-qualified orders.
