FROM MYMINIFACTORY TO A PRICE

    Sign in
    Click Log in at the top right. The Download button on an object page needs a signed-in account.
  2. 02
    Click Download
    On the object page, click Download. If the object has several files you'll see a list with a download link per file, or a Download all option that gives a zip.
  3. 03
    Paid or Tribe-only objects
    A paid object shows Buy instead of Download; after purchase it appears under your Library. Tribe-only objects need an active subscription to that designer — we can't get those any other way.

    Upload it for an instant price
    Go to the instant quote page and drop the file in — a zip is fine, we unpack it. You'll see a price straight away, then pick material, colour and quantity and pay online. Each file becomes its own part, so untick anything you don't need before you check out.

WHICH FILE, AND WHAT CATCHES PEOPLE OUT

WHICH FILE TO PICK ON MYMINIFACTORY
  • Unsupported STL where offered.
  • For miniatures, choose SLA resin on the quote page.
MYMINIFACTORY GOTCHAS
  • Miniatures are often supplied pre-supported for hobby resin printers. Pick the unsupported version if there is one — we support them ourselves for our SLA printers.
  • Tabletop models can be tiny with very fine detail. Pick SLA resin on the quote page for anything under about 40 mm; FDM won't hold the detail.
  • Scan the World objects are museum scans and can be huge meshes. If the upload looks slow, that's why — it will get there.

FILES, SIZES AND LICENCES

Pick model files, not print files
STL, 3MF, OBJ and STEP are model files and quote instantly. Gcode, .chitubox, .lys and other sliced or project files are set up for someone else's printer and can't be priced — leave them.
Zips are fine
Upload the zip as downloaded. We open it, keep the printable files and drop the photos and readme. Each printable file becomes its own part with its own price.
Check the size
The quote page shows each part's dimensions in mm. A part that reads 25× smaller than expected was modelled in inches — tell us in the notes and we'll scale it before printing.
Licences
Free models carry a licence set by the designer. Having your own copy printed for your own use is what those licences expect. If a licence says non-commercial, that's about selling the prints on, not about having one made.

MYMINIFACTORY QUESTIONS

Which printing option should I pick for MyMiniFactory miniatures?
SLA resin. Our Form 4 prints 25-micron layers, which is what tabletop detail needs. FDM is fine for terrain, scenery and larger scale models.
Do you print pre-supported miniature files?
We prefer the unsupported file and add our own supports, which we remove before dispatch. If only a pre-supported version exists, upload it and we'll sort the supports out.
Can you access a Tribe-only model for me?
No. Tribe content is only available to that designer's subscribers. Download it in your own account and upload the file to us.
