LINK TO PRICE IN A MINUTE

    Copy the model's link
    Open the model on Printables and copy the address bar. It looks like printables.com/model/1234567-model-name. Any page of the listing works — files, comments, remixes — as long as the number is in it.

    Paste it on our link page
    Go to bicester3d.co.uk/from-link and paste the link. We read the listing and show you every STL, 3MF and STEP file on it, with sizes.
  3. 03
    Tick the parts you want
    Multi-part models list one file per part. Everything is ticked by default; untick anything you don't want printed. Gcode and image files aren't shown because they can't be priced.
  4. 04
    Get the instant quote
    Click Get an instant quote. The files land on the quote page as if you'd uploaded them yourself — one part opens the configurator, several open the batch quote with a price per part. Pick material and colour, then pay online.

WHICH FILE TO PICK ON PRINTABLES
  • STL or 3MF from the Files tab. Ignore anything under 'print files'.
  • Multi-part models: one file per part. Each is priced separately.
PRINTABLES GOTCHAS
  • Some listings mix model files with 'print files' (gcode or sliced 3MF for a specific printer). We only show the model files — that's what you want.
  • If the designer only uploaded a 3MF project, that's fine: we read the geometry out of it.
  • Prefer to download yourself? Click Download all files on the listing and upload the zip instead.

FILES, SIZES AND LICENCES

Pick model files, not print files
STL, 3MF, OBJ and STEP are model files and quote instantly. Gcode, .chitubox, .lys and other sliced or project files are set up for someone else's printer and can't be priced — leave them.
Zips are fine
Upload the zip as downloaded. We open it, keep the printable files and drop the photos and readme. Each printable file becomes its own part with its own price.
Check the size
The quote page shows each part's dimensions in mm. A part that reads 25× smaller than expected was modelled in inches — tell us in the notes and we'll scale it before printing.
Licences
Free models carry a licence set by the designer. Having your own copy printed for your own use is what those licences expect. If a licence says non-commercial, that's about selling the prints on, not about having one made.

PRINTABLES QUESTIONS

Do I need a Printables account to get a quote?
No. Printables allows downloads without an account, and our link importer uses the same public access, so you never need to sign in or download anything.
Can you print a Printables model that only has a 3MF file?
Yes. We read the geometry straight out of the 3MF. If the 3MF has several build plates, each plate becomes its own part on the quote.
Will the print match the designer's photos?
The geometry will. Colour and finish depend on the material and colour you pick on the quote page — check the designer's notes for what they used.
